London-based electronic music duo Goldfrapp have released the final film in their series of companion videos to their 2013 LP, Tales Of Us.

"Laurel" is the sixth video to accompany last year's album. The new LP reveals a fresh path for the band who reached international acclaim with their 2006 synth-pop hit, "Ooh La La." The duo, which consists of Alison Goldfrapp and Will Gregory, draw heavily from Gregory's experience as a film scorer. The album is stitched together by vast, ambient soundscapes and chilled-out instrumentals. Unlike the band's previous work, Tales Of Us is slow and emotive, evoking strong feelings of longing that are fueled by the melancholy backing tracks and Goldfrapp's sultry vocal delivery.

The video features a myriad of black and white images that follow a common visual theme employed by Lisa Gunning, the the series' director and the lead singer's longtime partner. The cinematic quality of the music lends itself to the multifarious visual narrative. The deserted beaches depicted in lightly contrasted black and white are particularly resonant, as we enter the final stretch of summer.

Goldfrapp's latest album, Tales Of Us, is available on iTunes and Amazon. For future music and tour related information, head over to Goldfrapp's website.
