"God Knows" - Statik Selektah ft Bun B, Jared Evan & Posdnuos [SoundCloud Audio Stream]

Dedicated to the late Robin Williams, Statik Selektah has just dropped "God Knows" from his upcoming album, What Goes Around. Listen above, via SoundCloud.

Selektah provided a somber beat which samples The Beach Boys' 1966 song "God Only Knows." While Jared Evan offers up his sultry vocals on the chorus, rap veterans Bun B and Posdnuos of De La Soul spit some poignant verses about their time in the game. The mellow horns and drums provide for a perfectly reflective track. It's certainly nice to see some seasoned artists take the time and meditate over their contributions to the trade.
