With news of police brutality running rampant, it's nice to see Body Count still tearing it up. They're just as relevant and brutal as ever, and they proved it last night at the Afropunk Fest in Brooklyn. Watch a fierce performance of "Cop Killer" above.

Ice-T brings out Law & Order: SVU costar Danny Pino for a brief moment before launching into an impassioned speech about the importance of young leaders in the current political climate. "We need some of y'all motherfuckers to step up. We need 19-year-old motherfuckers," he says, "When we were talking all that shit, we were in our 20s. We made the motherfucking country listen to us." The crowd is electric as the band rips into an extended version of "Cop Killer," featuring a guest appearance from Brooklyn's own Smoothe da Hustler. The band slays the song, ending the performance with an epic outro as Ice-T holds a fist in the air and says, "Have some courage."
