Schoolboy Q has released a remix for "Studio," the single off his Oxymoron album which features BJ The Chicago Kid and a new verse from Nas.
It should not be taken lightly if a veteran rapper announces "finished up my new album" on a new track, especially if this veteran rapper is Nas. On the remix version of Schoolboy Q's "Studio," Nas also states that this is his last album on Def Jam. His reps confirmed this fact to Billboard, backing up Nas' statement as well. With his contract up and the remix single being released by Top Dawg Entertainment, it could be speculated that Nas is teaming up with TDE.
Nas coming out of his hiatus is exciting news for his fans. Especially given the fact that his last release, Life is Good, was two years ago.
