Blues rock guitarist Joe Bonamassa has released "Get Back My Tomorrow," a tune from his upcoming 11th solo studio album, Different Shades of Blue, that will be available September 23rd on J&R Adventures. You can listen to the track above.

The mood of the song is set from the beginning with precise notes leading into a distorted, foot-tapping groove. The contagious riff that appears throughout the song will get stuck in your head, and Joe's string-bending solo will leave the hair on your arms standing up. It's a brief song that can be stretched out when played live, and I'm sure his fans wouldn't mind.

Joe worked on "Get Back My Tomorrow" with Jerry Flowers and Jeffrey Steele, who have written songs for Keith Urban, Faith Hill, and Tim McGraw. In speaking with Speakeasy, Joe had this to say about the song:

It’s one of the songs that people really respond to on the album. I thought maybe it would have been too pop for some of my crowd, but this is why I’m not an A&R guy: I don’t smoke cigars, I don’t like tall buildings and I can’t pick singles.

Different Shades of Blue is available for pre-order on the Joe Bonamassa website. For more music, news, and tour information, check out his Zumic artist page.
