Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds Full Set at Farm Aid 9.13.2014 Set List

Farm Aid had a fantastic lineup this year with big acts such as Jack White and Gary Clark Jr. as well as the festival's founders, Willie Nelson, Neil Young, and John Mellencamp. Dave Matthews joined the founders on the Farm Aid Board of Directors in 2001 and has performed at the festival every year since.

Dave Matthews performed a short set of seven songs, but they were seven great songs. With the help from Tim Reynolds, the lead guitarist of the Dave Matthews band, the singer-songwriter put on a fantastic show with some ear-tingling acoustic jams. Reynolds plays the guitar with such finesse and passion, many times stealing the show from Matthews. At one point, Matthews even jokes that his guitar isn't plugged in and Reynolds is playing it all.

The majority of the set consists of acoustic covers from Dave Matthews Band's music catalog, with the exception of “Oh,” a song from Matthews' solo record Some Devil. As usual, Matthews fills the space between tunes with funny anecdotes and quirky facial expressions. The two musicians have been making music and performing together for twenty-five years and it's clear in the great show Matthews and Reynolds put on at Farm Aid this year.
