Nashville punks Diarrhea Planet are keeping guitar rock alive and well. Listen to their newest song, "Bamboo Curtain," above via SoundCloud.
The song has a very '90s Weezer-esque vibe, with layered guitars that sound awesome. There are strong poppy hooks, with vocals and carefully arranged guitar parts over a surf rock beat. Drummer Casey Weissbuch takes on lead vocal duties, singing a song that's pretty blatantly about masturbation. He also sounds great bashing the drums.
