There are generic ring tones that most people would recognize. Fallon thinks it would be cool to have Sting sing a few of these ring tones and call them "Stingtones." The host then played the jingles out loud and Sting sang them with the talk show's band playing along. After this, Fallon drew a seat number from a bucket. Sting then recorded "Message on my Voice-mail" onto a lucky audience member's cellphone. Fallon could could not keep himself from chuckling.

In the interview, the former Police frontman discussed his musical The Last Ship which took him five years to write. The play was based on his childhood community which was located near a shipyard. Sting told Fallon that he wanted escape from working in the ship yard and dryly confessed that he wanted to be a rock-star.

The Last Ship is currently playing on Broadway with tickets available on Ticketmaster.
