On Monday, R&B veterans Boyz II Men released the video to their song "Losing Sleep." The single, released in September, is featured on their latest album, Collide, which was released yesterday. This breakup ballad features a strong vocal performance from the Philly group.
While their last single, "Underwater," features more vocal effects than we would like to hear from the group, "Losing Sleep" has that original soulful R&B sound that Boyz II Men fans have cherished over the years. In the song, the trio have flashbacks of emotional pain and heartache. The thoughts occur so often that they are unable to sleep at night. In the chorus, they sing, "Girl you got me losing sleep / So I’d never close my eyes again / Cause when I do you’re all I see / And you’ll only break my heart." Clearly, the stress of failed relationships affects them in ways beyond their control.
