London's Allo Darlin' recently released their third studio album, We Come From The Same Place, on Slumberland Records. Today, they put out the first video from the record, for the song "Bright Eyes." Watch it above.

The clip is directed by Casey Raymond and it is a funny and pun-filled take on relationships. In this particular case, relationships between inanimate objects. Wordplay abounds in this video, such as a power strip saying that "there is no electricity in the relationship" or a crystal ball who "doesn't see any future in it." It's a lighthearted, fun video for the song, and it fits perfectly with the theme.

The song itself plays out as a conversation between a man and a woman, and the male/female dynamic is sweet and charming. The style of the tune is very much reminiscent of '90s indie pop acts such as Heavenly, with it's vocal trade offs and bright, energetic tempo.

You can listen to We Come From The Same Place in its entirety right here on Zumic. The album is out now and currently available on iTunes and Amazon.
