Today, big beat pioneers The Chemical Brothers released the song "This Is Not A Game," which will be featured on The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 soundtrack. It will be released on November 17th, just ahead of the movie’s premiere on November 21st.

The song features R&B singer Miguel giving an inspiring, in-your-face vocal performance, with The Chemical Brothers providing some straight-up filthy electronic rock that reflects the intensity of the films. Lorde is also featured, providing short and subtle background vocals throughout the track, giving extra dimension to the song. Lines like "Victory is sweet and I'mma get it now and later" keep with the revolutionary, fight-to-survive themes of The Hunger Games. Also of note, the first line, "Find what you love and let it kill you," is a quote usually credited to Charles Bukowski.

The entire soundtrack is being curated by Lorde herself, and will feature music by CHVRCHES, Charli XCX, and Major Lazer to name a few. The New Zealand pop star will contribute three songs to the soundtrack as well, including "Yellow Flicker Beat." Listen to that track here at Zumic.

You can pre-order The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 soundtrack on Amazon (CD, MP3) or iTunes.
