The Foo Fighters premiered a new song from Sonic Highways during an in-studio session on BBC Radio One with Zane Lowe. Listen and find the wide variety of influences on "Outside" above.
"Outside" was recorded in Joshua Tree, California at Rancho De La Luna, with Joe Walsh of the Eagles playing guitar on the track. The song has an old school rock feel to it, with hard hitting guitar work and shimmery keys. It starts off with a '90s grunge feel, but as the tune progresses, you can hear influences from '70s rock as well, especially during the guitar solo.
Sonic Highways will be released November 10th and is currently available for pre-order on Amazon (Vinyl, CD, MP3) and iTunes.
