Noel Gallagher and his band, the High Flying Birds, have shared a new single called "Do The Damage," which you can listen to above via YouTube. The song is the B-side to "In The Heat Of The Moment," and will be available November 17th as a limited 7″ vinyl before inclusion on the album Chasing Yesterday which is due out on March 2, 2015.
"Do The Damage" is an uptempo rocker that never takes its foot off the gas. Driving bass drum with steady basslines and distorted guitars provide the energy for this three minute song. Backup vocals during Noel's singing provides depth while a saxophone solo adds a rock and roll flavor. This tune is a bit more aggressive than the A-side, "In The Heat Of The Moment," which you can listen to here on Zumic.
