Sleater-Kinney ended their 8-year hiatus with the premiere of "Bury Our Friends," and now they've shared a second song called "Surface Envy." Both tracks will live on their upcoming record, No Cities to Love.

The track is whirling and beautifully dissonant, with hard-hitting, staccato verses and a sing-along chorus. The layers of guitar noise sit overtop straight-forward drumming, and right underneath Corin Tucker's pressing vocals. It's a solid return to form, and you can be sure their 8-year absence hasn't dulled their fury. Listen above.

The band also did an AMA today to answer some fan questions. You can check that out over at Reddit.

No Cities to Love is out January 20th, 2015 on Sub Pop. You can pre-order it via Amazon (Vinyl, CD, MP3) and iTunes.
