On Monday, Lupe Fiasco unleashed the video for his song "Deliver." The track serves as the first single from his upcoming album Tetsuo & Youth, which is scheduled for a January release. "Deliver," which features background vocals from LA singer / rapper Ty Dolla Sign, was released back in November. Now, the Chicago rapper has the perfect visuals to match this socially conscious song.

"The pizza man don't come here no more!" Lupe and Ty Dolla sing this line repeatedly in the hook. Those who come from violent, urban communities should understand what this line means. Lupe is rapping about the mean streets of his hometown but does so in a creative way. While in the verse, he raps about the run-down buildings, prostitution, and dreams of living in a better environment, the hook is centered on the aspect that something as simple as ordering pizza for delivery is a lost cause. "Deliver" carries an eerie, yet upbeat, club oriented production equipped with politically charged lyrics.

The video features a young boy riding his bike many miles away to the suburbs to pick up a pizza ordered by a man living in the ghetto. Count on Lupe Fiasco to always get his message across any way he can.

Pre-order Tetsuo & Youth on Amazon (CD, MP3) and iTunes.
