Your Old Droog is back on the radio, proving once again that he's a heavyweight lyricist capable of more than just entertainment. Watch his Showoff Radio freestyle with Statik Seletah on SiriusXM's Shade45 above, via YouTube.

In the beginning, Statik Selekt says "Let's do some Premo shit" because the opening beat is from a mixtape track called "Giantz to This" by NYGz, produced by DJ Premier. It sounds a lot like one of Jay Z's first big hits, "Ain't No Nigga," (featuring an 18-year-old Foxy Brown) which was on his 1996 album Reasonable Doubt. Big Jaz was responsible for that production, which contains a sample from "Seven Minutes Of Funk" by Tyrone Thomas & The Whole Darn Family. This is real NYC hip hop shit, for sure.

The lyrics really speak for themselves. Ain't nobody touching Your Old Droog right now. You can also see he's got the paper cup game on lock. In related news, that Hennessy bottle on the table might be the missing link between Your Old Droog and Nas that everyone's been looking for.
