Dr. Dog have a new live album coming out in just a few days, and the band have released a performance video for their song "Shadow People" in preparation. The album, Live At A Flamingo Hotel, drops January 13th.
The video features live footage of the band from various shows, as well as backstage footage and several shots of their fans. Dr. Dog always give a spirited performance live, and the guys do well in capturing the energy of their famed concert experience. In a statement, bassist and vocalist Toby Leaman said of the release:
That’s always what we’ve wanted to do. We’re one thing on a record and a different thing live. Somebody goes to a Dr. Dog show and they come back again and they bring more people with them... Our live show is vital to how we view ourselves as a band.
