Former Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland is back and ready to prove he's still rocking hard! On March 31st, he and his new backing band, the Wildabouts, will release an album titled Blaster. Above, listen to the group's new single, "Way She Moves."

The song is a sultry rock and roll number with distorted guitars and Weiland's recognizable vocals. A resemblance to T.Rex's "Bang A Gong (Get It On)" can be heard, but the Wildabouts take that sound and evolve it to the 21st century. "Way She Moves" is full of infectious hooks, blistering riffs, and enough attitude to impress a Hells Angel biker.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Weiland says the lyrics were inspired by his wife:

The inspiration, lyrically, is my wife. Pretty simple, really – I love the way she moves and I love the way she talks. I think ["Way She Moves"] is representative of the full album. I think that every song is its own on a sonic level, but there's a thread that keeps everything in a cohesive flow. I think it's one of the better songs on the album, and it's one of my favorites.

Members of the Wildabouts include guitarist Jeremy Brown, bassist Tommy Black and drummer Danny Thompson.

"Way She Moves" is the second track on the band's upcoming album, set for release on March 31st. You can pre-order Blaster on Amazon (Vinyl, CD, MP3) and iTunes.
