Blur have shared the second single to their upcoming album titled The Magic Whip. Listen to "There Are Too Many of Us" above via the band's YouTube.

The track finds singer Damon Albarn confronting the topic of overpopulation in the world. A march-like drumbeat opens the song in a very somber way. About midway through the song, guitars kick in and it turns into a full fledged rock tune. Layered psychedelic sound effects help to fill the spaces. The accompanying video was shot during the band's rehearsals in March. Perhaps there's a correlation between the lyrics and the close proximity we see the band members in?

Blur will debut The Magic Whip in its entirety at a "secret" small club show in West London tonight.

You can listen to the previously released single, "Go Out," here on Zumic.

The Magic Whip will be out on April 27th. It is currently available for pre-order on Amazon (Vinyl, CD, MP3).
