New York natives The London Souls have shared "All Tied Down," a song that will be on their upcoming album titled Here Come the Girls. You can listen to it above.
The London Souls are a band with a sound that is fresh, yet incorporates elements of mid '70s hard rock and hints of late '60s psychedelia. "All Tied Down" is a great example of their gritty sound and each individual's musicianship. Guitarist Tash Neal leads the song with distorted guitar riffs that are full of attitude. Drummer Chris St. Hilaire is a modern day Mitch Mitchell, as his fills are spontaneous and forceful. The track's other shining element are the weighty basslines that run underneath, courtesy of Chris St. Hilaire. Put them together, and you have a solid song like this.
Here Come the Girls was produced by Soulive’s Eric Krasno, and will be released on April 7th. The album was originally slated for a 2012 release, but had to be delayed due to a near fatal car accident involving Tash Neal.
You can pre-order the LP on Amazon (CD, MP3).
