Brooklyn singer-songwriter Torres has shared the title track from her upcoming sophomore album, Sprinter. Listen to it above.
The song is a guitar driven rock number with Ian Oliver's strong bass and Rob Ellis' steady drum beats laying a solid groundwork. Portishead guitarist Adrian Utley also lends his talents on the track. Torres' personal lyrics stem from her upbringing, and are delivered with a defiant attitude. "Sprinter" is an impressive piece of music that will grab your attention and hold it, whether it be on the first or tenth listen.
Sprinter will be released on May 5th via Partisan Records, and is available for pre-order on Amazon (Vinyl, CD, MP3).
