Billboard Interviews Wiz Khalifa & Charlie Puth After "See You Again" Hits #1
Earlier today, Wiz Khalifa debuted the music video for "See You Again" from the Furious 7: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. The long-awaited Furious 7 hit movie theaters on April 3rd and grossed $384 million during its opening weekend.
Khalifa has proven that his raps can range in context from partying to more sentimental songs. In this particular track, Khalifa's distressed raps coincide with the soft sung chorus by new artist, Charlie Puth, which emphasize the feeling of losing someone, maintaining the memories and being reconnected again in the future. The heart-rendering message can be linked to the shattered relationship between Wiz and Amber Rose, as well as the mourning of Fast and the Furious star Paul Walker.
Furious 7: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is available on Amazon (CD, MP3).
