Actor / singer Jamie Foxx gives us the danceable cut "Baby's In Love" featuring L.A. rapper Kid Ink. The song will be featured on his upcoming album, Hollywood: A Story Of A Dozen Roses, which will be released on May 18th.
This is a different sound for the singer as he strays from the R&B world and jumps into a synthpop sound. Assisted by Kid Ink, Foxx sings about a new flame falling in love with him over a peppy, upbeat tune.
Jamie sang The National Anthem at the Pacquiao vs Mayweather fight this past weekend. His release of "Baby's In Love" might have been an attempt to capitalize off the publicity of that performance, but the lackluster response has put a damper on that. Just a thought. Hollywood: A Story Of A Dozen Roses is available on Amazon (CD, MP3).
