Travi$ Scott dropped his new solo track, "Antidote," yesterday after hyping it up on his Twitter page. Scott debuted the song live at JMBLYA music festival in Dallas, TX this past friday. The song is co-produced by WondaGurl -- the 18-year-old who's already made beats for Jay Z and Drake -- and Eastbound.
The rapper has already released a couple singles from his upcoming album Rodeo, such as "3500" featuring Future and 2 Chainz. On Travis Scott's SoundCloud, he's shared the song as a free download and posted:
THIS IS FOR THE REAL FANS!! THE REAL RAGERS!! THIS IS SOME VIBES FOR THE SUMMER....
THIS ISNT ON RODEO..... IT'S COMING SOON.
NIGHTSHOW TOUR
MORE INFO COMING SOON!!!!!
Despite the excitement from Travi$ Scott's fans in the SoundCloud comments, not everyone has responded positively to the song. Shortly after the debut, there was speculation that music producer Mike WiLL Made-It's series of accusing tweets were towards Scott; suggesting he copied the signature style of Swae Lee, one half of the hip hop duo Rae Sremmurd. Mike WiLL responded by calling out Twitter trolls and sending Scott a "salute":
Niggas dropping songs trying to sound like @iHipsterLee
