The Revivalists just announced a new record, titled Men Amongst Mountains. The album's latest single is "Wish I Knew You" and it certainly gets us excited for the rest of the album. With a funky guitar, flourishes of a saxophone, and lead singer David Shaw's husky vocals, "Wish I Knew You" is a nostalgic anthem for those that also happen to enjoy a good groove.

Men Amongst Mountains was recorded in just two short weeks, and circles the theme of growth. The band says the album "is about the journey that makes us greater than the mountains standing in our way," and isn't afraid to take sharp, unexpected turns, where "the gentle gives way to the heavy, the acoustic to the orchestral."

Be sure to look out for Men Amongst Mountains on July 17. The album is available for preorder on Amazon (CD, Vinyl, MP3). The band is also offering deluxe packages, exclusive merchandise, and signed posters at PledgeMusic.
