If you've ever wondered what happens behind-the-scenes of the making of a Neil Young album, now you're in luck. Yahoo has shared a film of the making of Neil Young and Promise of the Real's new album, The Monsanto Years, which was also included as a DVD in the deluxe CD packaging. You can watch the hour-long film above.
The film shows the band performing songs from the album while including footage of Neil and the boys discussing recording techniques and messing around. They share plenty of laughs together, and you get a personal feel of the chemistry that was shared while they recorded The Monsanto Years.
The Monsanto Years is available on Amazon (CD, MP3). You can also stream the full album and read our review here on Zumic.
This month, Neil Young + Promise Of The Real will be joining together on tour in support of the new album. For more information about that, as well as Neil's latest music and news, check out his Zumic artist page.
