The notorious one-eyed rapper, Fetty Wap, is once again climbing the Billboard Hot 100 charts with "679," featuring fellow Remy Boyz members Montana Buckz (aka Monty) and P-Dice. Watch the official music video above on YouTube.
While the track was originally released on the artist's SoundCloud in 2014, it has become an overnight hit after being re-released this summer. Currently sitting at the 19th spot, "679" is his third single making an appearance on the Hot 100 charts thus far. Fetty's chart history also includes songs "My Way," which reached the 98th spot, and "Trap Queen," which peaked at a very impressive number 2 seat.
To answer any curiosity about the meaning behind the title "679," it comes from the New Jersey rapper's birthday, June 7, 1990. The music video sets the scene to a wild party, with Fetty, his Remy Boyz family, and a plethora of half naked women. Naturally, the crew is sippin' from their infamous drink of choice, Remy Martin Cognac 1738.
"679" is available on Amazon.
