Pink Floyd founding bassist Roger Waters has revisited the 1992 music video for "What God Wants, Part 1" and sharpened the visuals and sound to present a better quality video for the song. You can watch it above.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Waters spoke of the significance of Amused to Death, the album of which the song originally appeared on:
I'm remembering the record from [over] 20 years ago, that most of what I had to say then sadly still pertains today and is maybe even more relevant to our predicament as people in 2015 even than it was in 1992.
The video sees Roger Waters and guitarist Jeff Beck performing the song in a studio mixed with closeups of Waters singing the song. Roger's steady bass flows under Beck's scorching guitar riffs while backup singers fill out the vocals.
The track will be included on the reissue his 1992 LP, Amused to Death. Pick it up on Amazon (Vinyl, CD / BluRay, MP3).
