Oxford band Foals have treated their fans to another taste of new music that will be on their upcoming album, What Went Down. Watch them play "London Thunder" above, via the band's YouTube.

The band recorded the session for the video at Studios La Fabrique in France. It was part of their CCTV sessions, an idea they created during their 2013 album, Holy Fire. In the vocal, you can hear the melody from Tears For Fears' 1983 hit, "Mad World," in a slow, piano-heavy style similar to the rendition of the song by Michael Andrews and Gary Jules.

Lead singer Yannis Philippakis shared an early draft of the lyrics on Instagram:

Over the past month or so, Foals have released music videos for "A Knife In The Ocean," "What Went Down" and "Mountain At My Gates."

What Went Down is available on Amazon (Vinyl, CD, MP3). It's set for an August 28th release.
