Today, the legendary Rod Stewart shared the second single from his upcoming 29th studio album, Another Country. Listen to the upbeat "Please" above, via Rod Stewart's YouTube.
Bluesy rock guitar licks give the tune a great rock feel, and backup vocalists fill out Stewart's on-point vocals, proving he can still melt hearts. Lyrics asking a woman to accompany him for the night are reminiscent of his 1971 song in The Faces, "Stay With Me," except this time he seems a bit more sincere.
Previously, Rod Stewart shared "Love Is," which is the first single from the upcoming album.
Another Country is set for an October 23, 2015 release. Pick it up on Amazon (Vinyl, CD, MP3).
Rod Stewart will begin a residency at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas beginning in March, 2016. For the latest music, news, and tour dates from Rod Stewart, check out his Zumic artist page.
