Atlanta hip hop artist Jeezy just dropped a chilling new tune as part of his new weekly series, #SundayService. His new track "Gold Bottles" explores the familiar thematic territory of a gangsta lifestyle with some adventurous new production by Young Thug collaborator and hip hop whiz kid, London On Da Track.

The track opens up with an unsettling quasi-religious pairing of organ and classical guitar, when a siren enters halfway to add tension leading into the hook. The frequent, yet tasteful placement of sampled gun shots helps to accent certain beats and serves as a metonymy for popping champagne bottles. The titular "Gold Bottles" extend metaphorically to nearly every aspect of gangsta life: in the guns, the watches, and the ladies.

While the production on this track is pretty neat, the lyrics are a bit lackluster (note: rhyming "new edition... magician... new edition"). It's Jeezy though, so the flow definitely works.

"Gold Bottles" is the third release in support of his upcoming album, Church In These Streets which is set to release on November 13th.
