Phish frontman Trey Anastasio has shared an official visualizer video for his new track, "Lever Boy." The tune will be on his new album, Paper Wheels, available October 30th, 2015 Watch the hypnotic clip above.
Trey spoke with Rolling Stone about the song's creation:
What you're hearing on "Lever Boy" is the sound of a band playing live, together in a room, with very little isolation — with a couple of simple layers added, very quickly. The album was tracked in about two days, and we rarely did more than one or two takes of each song.
Directed by George A. Loucas, the geometric images seen in the video are inspired by packaging that can be found in the Paper Wheels' deluxe vinyl edition.
Previously, Trey Anastasio shared two songs from the album on YouTube: "Sometime After Sunset" and "The Song."
Pick up Paper Wheels on Amazon (Vinyl, CD, MP3).
Trey will be hitting the road in November for a few concerts with his solo band. For more information about that, as well as his latest music and news, check out his Zumic artist page.
