Progressive rock legends Rush have just wrapped up their R40 tour, and are releasing a CD / DVD set of live footage recorded at their June, 2015 hometown shows in Toronto. Above, you can check out "Tom Sawyer," one of the many highlights that will be featured on the release.
In an email with Wall Street Journal's Speakeasy, bassist Geddy Lee said that the song is a must-play at concerts:
The fact that "Tom Sawyer" is, in many ways, the quintessential and most iconic Rush song, as well as the most internationally known and loved one, we simply cannot imagine a show without including it.
R40 Live is available as a 3 CD + DVD combo, and is scheduled to be released November 20, 2015 via Rounder Records. Pick it up on Amazon (CD, MP3).
The band has also shared R40 videos of "The Spirit Of Radio," "Closer to the Heart," and "Roll The Bones."
