Late Show with Stephen Colbert: Who? with Vulfpeck

While they were on the show to promote their recently released 5-star album, Thrill Of The Arts, the song "1612" actually appears on their 2014 LP Fugue State. Even as a bit of a throwback, the jam is quirky and crisp with an arsenal of talented musicians backing up vocalist Antwuan Stanley, including the Colbert show's own Jon Baptiste. As if having two Bassists weren't enough, they've even got a Tuba player filling out the low end.

In the minute-long, behind-the-scenes interview, we get to know more about Vulfpeck as they discuss their influences / cereals, the meaning behind their name, and their plans to start a populist Ponzi scheme with the belief that "Ponzi Schemes should be simple and fun." And did you know they all have nicknames?

Thrill Of The Arts is available on Amazon. You can also stream the album for free and read our review right here on Zumic.
