Phoenix alternative rock quintet The Maine shared a touching music video for their song, "Am I Pretty?" Watch above. (Editor's note: The song starts at the 1:58 mark of the video.)

The band released their fifth full length album, American Candy, on March 31, 2015. Since then, they have been on several tours and was recently added to the Vans Warped Tour 2016 lineup. Later today, they're also scheduled to do a Google Hangout session, answering fans questions.

The music video tackles the issue of self esteem through different stories that people tell, including growing up poor, living with an abusive step father, having children at an early age, and being overweight. Vocalist John O'Callaghan made a statement on the band's Facebook page:

You are beautiful because your eyes are different sizes and your lisp gets in between your tongue and teeth every time you try to say 'something'. You are beautiful because the scar under your chin looks like a spider and because you have a massive fear of heights. You are beautiful because there never has been, nor will there ever be anyone else on this Earth like you. Because your flaws are like fingerprints and should be embraced just like the free will that resides inside. You are not beautiful because of the symmetry in the little squares on your telephone, you are beautiful because 'you' are the only 'you' this place will ever know.

Similar to the music video, "Am I Pretty?" is an uplifting tune that starts on a somber note, but by the end will have you smiling from ear to ear. The song features encouraging lyrics, groovy guitar riffs, and laid back beats.
