On July 15, 2016, a new Ghostbusters film will hit theaters nationwide. One of the more recognizable characteristics of the movie is its theme song, originally written by Ray Parker Jr. Today, pop punk band Fall Out Boy have released their new twist on the tune, which includes a verse by rapper Missy Elliott. As you can hear, there's a big difference between this one and Ray Parker Jr.'s version. While the original leans more towards the electronic side, this one mixes elements of guitar and hip hop, with Patrick Stump taking the vocal duties. Whether or not this version measures up to the classic theme song is a matter of opinion. Personally, I like the original more.
