Last month, jamband veterans Phish began their summer tour, which will be extending into early September. Today, they've uploaded a live performance of "Twist" from the first of back-to-back nights at the iconic Wrigley Field in Chicago. Watch it above, courtesy of Phish's official YouTube.
The song first debuted in 1997, and to this day Phish still manage to keep the song exciting and experimental. At just over 15 minutes long, this performance begins with a fun and upbeat rhythm before shifting into a funky jam that climbs to a soaring altitude near the ten minute mark.
We also get a good look at Phish's new lightning rig, which is made up of 78 LED video screens. You can read more about the lights and stage setup on Live Design Online.
The full concert audio for every concert on tour is available for purchase and download through the band at LivePhish.com.
