Bluegrass outfit Yonder Mountain String Band have shared a scenic music video for "Alison," a track from their upcoming album. Watch it above, courtesy of the band's YouTube.
Shot in Telluride, Colorado, the video uses drones to capture the band playing the song with the beautiful landscape surrounding them.
Singer and bonjo player Dave Johnston spoke about the song's lyrics with Rolling Stone Country:
[Guitarist] Adam Aijala and I had a lot of fun developing this tune, and it went through a couple of good tweaks... The speaker is sort of a stalker type, but he's also prone to getting duped, so it ends up being a hopeless situation for him. I can't tell, though, if I feel sorry for him or not.
The song is from the band's as-of-yet untitled upcoming album that is scheduled to be released in early 2017.
