The Jimi Hendrix estate has shared a second single from an upcoming archival live album titled Machine Gun: The Fillmore East First Show 12/31/69. Above, you can listen to Hendrix and the Band of Gypsys perform an upbeat version of "Izabella."

While not one of Hendrix's most popular songs, "Izabella" is a great tune that displays Hendrix's talented guitar skills while drummer Buddy Miles and bassist Billy Cox lay down a solid rhythm section that keeps the tempo energized.

Machine Gun: The Fillmore East First Show 12/31/69 documents the first of four concerts the band would play at the legendary Fillmore East venue celebrating New Year's Eve with two performances on December 31 and two on January 1, 1970. Recordings from January 1 were released in 1970 on the Band of Gypsys LP, which was the last album Hendrix would release in his lifetime. Other highlights from the 2-night run were released on a 2 CD & DVD collection called Live at the Fillmore East in 1999.

Pick up Machine Gun: The Fillmore East First Show 12/31/69 on Amazon. It's scheduled to be released on On September 30, 2016.
