LA rock band Bleached have shared the title track off their four-song EP that is scheduled to be released in March. Listen to "Can You Deal?" above, courtesy of record label Dead Oceans' SoundCloud.

The band left a comment about the song on their website, saying:

I create music and art because I need to. To express, to bond, to reconcile, and to connect. And to use my voice. To have it received with such a generic labeling as “girl band” and consistently referenced as “female fronted” is insulting and reductive. The title track to this EP, “Can You Deal?” is about this experience... It’s 2017, Can You Deal with women playing rock and roll yet?

Can You Deal? will be released on March 3, 2017 through Dead Oceans. It's available to pre-order now on BandCamp and iTunes.

In conjunction with the album, the band will be releasing a Can You Deal? Zine "that is a collection of shared experiences on the matter as told through essay, stories, poetry, visual art, and more" featuring musicians including Julien Baker, Alicia Bognanno of Bully, Sadie Dupuis, Alice Glass, Hinds, Sara Landeau, Kate Nash, Liz Phair, Jane Weidlin, Tegan Quin, Patty Schemel, Kim Schifino, Mish Way, Hayley Williams, and the girls from Bleached. It is available to pre-order for $10 and proceeds go to Planned Parenthood. Get more info at Bleached's website.
