Veteran NYC band Blondie have shared a music video for "Fun," the first single from their upcoming album, Pollinator. Watch it above, courtesy of the band's YouTube.

Debbie Harry shared a statement about the video with Entertainment Weekly:

Always a pleasure to work with Dikayl, a director who knows what he wants and how to get it... He’s got a great list of credits and I’m glad Blondie has had the chance to work with him.

During the video, we see the band rocking out as we follow the adventures of a female astronaut. Trippy visual effects flash before our eyes, and we're taken to a raging dance party where the crowd's inhibitions are loose and wild.

In true Blondie fashion, the song blends rock and new wave with golden age disco. "Fun" pushes a playful romantic narrative forward with a dance driven-beat and catchy melodies. Atmospheric elements lay underneath Debbie Harry's sultry vocals, which sound as exciting as ever.

Pollinator is scheduled to be released on May 5, 2017. Pick it up on Amazon.

Blondie will also be on the road in Australia with Cyndi Lauper during the month of April before heading out on a North American co-headlining tour with Garbage. For more, check out the Blondie Zumic artist page.
