Pink Floyd have shared live video footage of “Atom Heart Mother” from their appearance at the Pop Deux Festival de St. Tropez in France, 1970. Watch above.

The video was released last year on the band's 7-volume box set, The Early Years 1965-1972, which focused on the early stages of Pink Floyd's career. The collection contains unreleased songs, concert recordings, video footage, and memorabilia. Later this month, they will release the individual volumes from the box set. (The video above comes from Volume 4, 1970: Devi/ation.)

"Atom Heart Mother" first appeared on Pink Floyd’s 1970 album of the same name. While the studio version clocks in at over 23 minutes, this live version spans nearly 14 minutes. The pro-shot video takes you onto the stage, which gives an intimate feel. There are also some quick shots of the venue layout, the fans, and the band pre-show.

The Early Years 1970 Devi/ation, and the rest of The Early Years 1965-1972 material, is currently available on the Pink Floyd webstore.

Last year the band also released a 2-disc selection of audio highlights called Cre/ation: The Early Years 1965-1972.

In related news, Roger Waters will begin his Us + Them North American tour this May. For more information, check out the Pink Floyd Zumic artist page.
