Goldie-official-zumicGoldie, the drum and bass legend, is going to work with Flying Lotus and Burial on collaborations that will appear on his new album.

What do I do best? Working with real musicians, that's it. I've kind of reinvented myself in that sense, of going back before  Timeless… It feels like something greats about to happen with my own rebirth.

This March marks 20 years since Goldie hit the electronic music scene.  He will be releasing 3 CD compilation to commemorate his long stand in the industry; The Alchemist: The Best of Goldie 1992-2012, and new version of Timeless "with an 80-piece orchestra and choir."  Goldie also recently did a full interview with Billboard and spoke about the EDM industry.

My whole thing with EDM is, if you have integrity and yet you regress in how you’ve been as an artist, there's something not quite right there. If you're just here to get paid, I find that very culturally indifferent. When you go into the studio, you have to know what you're going in there for. I went into the studio because I had a voice and I wanted to change things, and I don't necessarily mean my bank account. The money is almost a B factor, a side product.

Check out the full interview at Billboard and watch Zumic for more news on his upcoming album.
