Daft Punk collaborator and House producer Romanthony (Anthony Moore) passed away from kidney disease on May 7th at his home in Austin, Texas at the age of 45 according to his sister Mellony Moore.

A native to New Jersey, Romanthony's early career focused on the creation of his own label Black Male Records with singles like "Make This Love right" and collaborations with singer Eve Angel. But his most notable success was when he provided vocals for Daft Punk's biggest hit "One More Time", which was recently made Mixmags "Greatest Dance Track of All time" earlier this year.

Mixmag said, "It’s a physical impossibility not to smile, move, dance, raise your arms, jump in the air. Or whatever it is that your body does to tell you".

After the dry spell of House music in the mid-2000s Romanthony's collaborations became slimmer. In 2008 he worked with Laidback Luke for "Show" and he most recently worked with Boys Noize who stated via Twitter that, "He said it was the greatest song he had ever written".
