Florida emo-punks You Blew It! released their sophomore album, Keep Doing What You're Doing, this past January via TopShelf Records, and now their song "Award Of The Year Award" has a music video to accompany it. The video was directed by Jeremy Silviera and shot entirely on a GoPano camera.
The video was filmed at Park Avenue CDs, a local record store in the band's hometown of Orlando, Florida, and features interactive, panoramic viewing. Within the video itself, one sees different angles of the band playing in-store. During the chorus, however, is when the fans show up and the fun begins. There's a veritable I-Spy of costumed fans, including a man in a unicorn head, Darth Vader, a Jedi, Charlie Brown in his Halloween Costume and Batman. Watch closely to catch all the other pop-culture references in the crowd. Watch the panoramic version below.
Keep Doing What You're Doing is available for purchase on iTunes and Amazon, as well as through the TopShelf Records bandcamp.
