"Awkward" - FIDLAR [Soundcloud Official Audio]

Normally, people eschew drug-fueled lo-fi surf punks. The back alleys and crack dens of LA are not places you want to go. Unless, of course, you want to listen to these guys, which you totally do. FIDLAR -- the acronym for "Fuck it, dawg, life's a risk" -- is as unpolished as it gets, but in a good way.

The new single, "Awkward," is a mellowed-out punk rock confession of defeat. The chanting refrain "I'll probably end up fucking up and make it super awkward" drives the song at a slower pace than we're used to from these guys, but sometimes you gotta sit back and reflect on how much of a fuck-up you are.
