Gauntlet Hair premiered their second single, "Bad Apple", from forthcoming album Stills. It sounds like a combination of Depeche Mode, INXS, and Nine Inch Nails. So basically it rocks, in a creepy way.
"Bad Apple"'s seductive and eerie nature lures me to keep hitting play. The piano bass notes layered with the pang of synths create a gnarly groove. Gauntlet Hair's music is moving in a less distorted direction and it sounds great.
Stills is out July 16 via Dead Oceans.
