A Day To Remember have released their sixth studio album, Bad Vibrations, through ADTR Records. This is the first release from the band since 2013’s Common Courtesy.

The 13-track deluxe edition was recorded at The Blasting Room in Fort Collins, Colorado with producers Bill Stevenson and Jason Livermore. Illustrator Mike Cortada is credited for the album's artwork.

Bad Vibrations should satisfy fans of hardcore punk with aggressive break-downs and fans of straight-forward hard rock with pop sensibilities. Songs like the album's title track and "Paranoia" hit you in the gut with upbeat guitar riffs, mosh-worthy changes, and screaming vocals. “Naivety” sounds like something out of Bad Religion's playbook, while "We Got This" leans more on the pop side.

Frontman Jeremy McKinnon spoke with RockSound about the album title and how he was afraid going in to record:

The record is called Bad Vibrations because that’s what I was feeling at the time, stuck in this weird, high-stress mindset every day. I was terrified. I went in to record with nothing much to offer – hardly anything that I was excited about. I’ve never had a problem with pushing other people’s expectations aside, but it became a real issue. Thankfully the other guys stepped in and brought some great stuff to the table.

Only one track breaks the four minute barrier, and if you're listening from beginning to end, it helps to keep the album flowing from song to song. For the casual music fan who likes to listen to a little bit of every genre, Bad Vibrations may start to feel a little bit repetitive. There is enough diversity throughout though to make the LP a worthwhile listen, fan or not.

Songs we like are "Bad Vibrations," "Paranoia," "Exposed," " Bullfight," "Reassemble, and "Turn Off The Radio."

Bad Vibrations is currently available on Amazon. You can also stream the full album for free, via Spotify.

The band is currently on the road with Blink-182 and All Time Low.
