Copenhagen punks Lower will follow up their tenacious 2012 EP Walk On Heads with their first full length release. Seek Warmer Climes comes out on June 17th via Matador Records, and the band has just shared a live performance video of "Bastard Tactics," a song that will appear on the album.

Replacing their usual ferocity with a bit more of a bummer-ific sound, Lower come out sounding like a grimier version of any of number of bands that tiptoed the line between new wave and post-punk in the '80s, namely the early works of The Cure, The Smiths and / or Echo & The Bunnymen. Singer Adrian Toubro adopts more of a croon than we've heard from him thus far in his young career, and the band chugs along determinedly behind him, with Kristian Emdal's bassline providing an ear-catching backbone.

Preorder Seek Warmer Climes from Matador Records.
