Beastie Boy Adam Yauch Honored With Playground Naming In Brooklyn Heights

Much has been said about Beastie Boy Adam Yauch a.k.a MCA since he passed away on May 4th, 2012. He was a great lyricist, musician, and humanitarian who fought for women's rights and the movement to free Tibet.

Earlier today, a New York City playground on Columbia Street in Brooklyn Heights was renamed in Yauch's honor. Here is a YouTube video of the official re-naming of what used to be called Palmetto Playground:
